NSERC'S SCIENCE, ACTION! 2019

1st Place Finish!

NSERC Science, Action! is a yearly program where students can submit 60-second videos that showcase NSERC funded research.  The videos are targeted towards a non-specialist audience.  My submitted video made it to the top 15 during the public voting round. The top videos were judged by an internal panel, and I received first place in the competition. Check it out above, or on NSERC's YouTube page here.

THREE MINUTE THESIS

Western University Finalist 2019

This year I competed in the 3MT competition at Western University on my Ph.D. research.  I competed in the Faculty of Science heat, and have earned a spot in the Western University Finals.  You can check out the video of my presentation at the Western University Finals above or by clicking here!

PINT OF SCIENCE 2019

City Coordinator for London, ON

Pint of Science is an international outreach festival aimed at promoting science by delivering talks in bars in an accessible format to the public. Founded in the UK in 2012, Pint of Science will be held in hundreds of venues across 21 countries, including over a dozen Canadian cities. Pint of Science will be coming to London from May 20th - 22nd 2019!
